Women's Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Class: Women Only

Our women’s-only BJJ class offers a safe, supportive, and fun environment to build confidence, improve fitness, and learn real-world self-defense. Whether you're brand new or experienced, you'll train alongside other women in a welcoming space that empowers you to feel strong and capable. With a focus on effective technique, community, and personal growth, this class is as rewarding as it is enjoyable—because training should be empowering and fun.

Kids' Class: Ages 5+

Introduce your child to the world of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, right here in Melbourne, FL.  Our Kids’ BJJ program is designed to build confidence, discipline, and physical fitness in a fun, supportive environment. Through structured training and age-appropriate techniques, children learn self-defense, coordination, teamwork, and respect—both on and off the mats. Whether your child is a beginner or has experience, our experienced coaches create a safe space for growth, resilience, and lifelong skills. Watch them gain strength—not just physically, but mentally and emotionally too.

We proudly accept the Step Up for Students Unique Abilities (UA) Scholarship and are an approved Direct Pay Provider. 

How to Use Direct Pay:

1. Log in to your Step Up for Students EMA portal.

2. Select Marketplace from the menu on the top left.

3. Select Find Providers.
4. Select your child's name from the drop down menu.

5. Search for "The Academy Jiu Jitsu" and select our gym, "The Academy Jiu Jitsu - Melbourne, FL" from the approved provider list.

6. Select our location at 3845 W Eau Gallie Blvd, Melbourne, FL 32934.

7. Use your scholarship funds to pay for enrollment fees, your child's uniform gi, additional gis, your child's rashguard, and membership fees.

8. Step Up will pay us directly—no out-of-pocket cost to you!
